     7更新管理はopenEHRアーキテクチャでは欠くことのできない部分である。EHRに対するopenEHRのレポジトリやデモグラフィック情報は更新を制御するために集められた「バージョンコンテナ」（comon.change_controlパッケージのVERSION_OBJECT<T>クラスによりモデル化されている。）として管理される。それぞれが最上位のコンテンツ構造（CompositionやPartyといったもの)のバージョン情報を変更がなされる度に持っている。バージョン管理された最上位のコンテンツ構造を図23に示す。
